Installed pricing runs about $20 to $40 per linear foot of roofline in Utah, so most homes land between $3,000 and $8,000. Are they visible during the day?
Barely. The channel is powder-coated to match your fascia and tucked up under the eave. From the street it reads as trim. Most people don't notice a neighbor has them until the first night they come on.
Will my HOA allow them?
Almost always. Because the track is color-matched and the system can run subtle warm white, it satisfies the exterior-lighting language in every HOA we've worked with. Do they work in snow and cold?
Yes. The system is rated from −40°F to 140°F and sealed against snow, ice and rain. Utah winters are exactly the condition it's designed for, and it's the same weather that makes hanging traditional lights miserable.
