How much do permanent holiday lights cost?
Installed pricing runs about $18 to $35 per linear foot of roofline in Utah, so most homes land between $3,000 and $8,000. Height, roof complexity and how much of the house you light drive the price. We give a firm number at the free on-site quote.
Are permanent lights visible during the day?
Barely. The track is color-matched to your fascia and tucked under the eave. From the street it reads as trim. Most neighbors don't know they're there until they turn on.
Will my HOA allow them?
Almost always. Because the track is color-matched and the lights can run subtle warm white, they meet the exterior-lighting rules in every HOA we've worked with. We're happy to supply photos and spec sheets for your board.
How long do they last?
The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours, which is roughly 20 years of nightly use. LEDs carry a lifetime warranty, components 5 years, labor 1 year. If a bulb fails, we replace it.
Do they work in snow and cold?
Yes. The system is rated to −40°F and sealed against snow, ice and rain. Utah winters are exactly what it's built for.
Do I need to be home for the install?
Not for most of it. We need access to an exterior outlet and about 15 minutes at the end to set up the app on your phone.
Can I add more later?
Yes. Fences, pergolas, columns, a new addition or a detached garage can be added to the same controller.
Is the app hard to use?
If you can change a phone wallpaper, you can run these lights. We set it up with you on install day and load your favorite presets.
What's the power cost?
About the same as a few night-lights. A typical home runs a few dollars a month even with the lights on every night.
Do you serve my area?
We're based in Riverton, Utah and serve Salt Lake County, Utah County and the Wasatch Front. If you're outside that, ask anyway; we travel for larger projects.
